The XLC Comp A-Head Headset HS-I09 is a semi-integrated A-Head headset with CroMo bearing shell and aluminium body. It is engineered to provide the sort of steady predictable steering you want from your trusty bicycle, with compatibility with 1.1/8” (28.6mm) steerer tubes.
The headset uses ball bearings for smooth movement but this means it will need maintenance more often than some of XLC's other cartridge-bearing headsets.
The height of the headset is a combined 15.6m with the top accounting for 10.1mm of that and the bottom measuring 5.5mm. It is compatible with a frame diameter of 44mm.
